Dreamers & Doers

Planning a big event is extremely personal, so we want you to get to know us before embarking on this monumental journey together.  We are Andrew & Ashleigh, a married couple with two daughters, Hula Kayli & Wilder Summer. Both from New England, we ended up meeting while  living in Southern California (ironically just 10 minutes apart from each other). It was a casual beginning, and I don't think either of us had a clue where life would eventually take us. 

Andrew is many things: artist, athlete, entrepreneur, super-hero dad and amazing chef are the first words that come to mind. He studied at Mass Art before moving to California to manage a well-known snowboard company's marketing & athletic team. The majority of Andrew's 20's & early 30's were spent traveling the globe, coaching pro-snowboarders at major competitions, including the Olympics. He's just one of those people that seems to be incredible at anything he sets his mind to, and is truly the FORCE behind Free Spirits that drives our success at each and every event.

If Andrew is the "Doer", I am the "Dreamer". My name is Ashleigh, and  I am the  person you will be mostly communicating with during the planning process. From a young age, I had big dreams. I set off for college at age 17 with a singular goal of becoming an astronaut. While I did enjoy the majority of my schooling, I realized that I really could not see myself in a technical career with a very small chance of actually making it to space. I did not want to miss out on exploring all the adventures that planet earth had to offer. Instead, I finished my schooling with a degree in mathematics and dove deep into the world of event planning while taking every chance I could to travel and feed my soul.

Free Spirits was born from our combined passions  and continues to evolve on a daily basis.
